WHAT TO EXPECT ON EMBARKATION DAY

Temporarily, check-in will only take place at the Clarion Hotel Philadelphia International Airport, located at 76 Industrial Highway, Essington, PA 19029

When you arrive:

  • Guests using NCL airport transfers will be brought directly to the hotel.
  • Guests arriving independently will be guided by on-site staff for parking and check-in. NOTE: “on-site” refers to the Clarion Hotel
  • Guests who choose to pre-pay for parking may do so by calling the Clarion Hotel directly at 610-521-9600, Monday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The parking rate is $16 per day, per vehicle – pre-paying is highly recommended.
  • Luggage drop-off will be located outside the hotel entrance, followed by check-in inside the ballroom.
  • Please plan to arrive during your selected check-in window to help maintain a smooth flow – this will be strictly enforced.
  • As a reminder, wheelchair assistance will not be available at the Clarion Hotel, guests should anticipate a short walk from the shuttle drop-off to the processing tent at the port. The NCL team will do their best to assist guests with mobility needs along this route. Once inside the tent, wheelchair assistance will be provided for guests who requested assistance to embark the ship.
  • After check-in complimentary shuttle buses will transport all guests to the pier. Please remember to keep essential items with you, as they will be needed during boarding.

For safety and operational reasons, all guest must travel to the port via these official shuttles. Direct access to the port or ship will not be permitted.

At the pier:

  • Guests will pass through security screening area located inside a covered tent.
  • The final walk to the ship will be outdoors and may include nearby construction areas. It is recommended to dress comfortably and to check the weather in advance.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON DEBARKATION DAY

For safety and to maintain smooth operations, guests will not be permitted to arrange independent transportation directly from the PhilaPort Cruise Terminal.

  • Guests who do not have a vehicle parked at the Clarion Hotel will be transported directly from the pier to the airport (TERMINAL C DEPARTURES), conveniently nearby. This central terminal is close to the rideshare pickup area and train station and, for guests flying out, serves as the American Airlines terminal with easy connections to other terminals and airlines. This transfer will be provided on a complimentary basis; any pre-purchased transfer charges will automatically be refunded.
  • Once ashore, guests who choose not to carry their own luggage off the vessel may collect their bags at the pier.
  • Guests with vehicles parked at the Clarion Hotel will be shuttled back to the hotel to retrieve their cars.
  • Rideshare and taxi services are not available directly from the pier. Guests requiring these services may conveniently arrange pickup from the airport.
  • Please note that privately arranged motorcoaches are not permitted to pickup guests at the cruise terminal; however, they may meet guests at the airport after disembarkation processing, if applicable.

SELF-ASSIST DISEMBARKATION

The simplest way to keep your luggage with you and carry it off the ship at your leisure between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM. This process is highly recommended as it allows you to join the first group to disembark the ship as soon as local officials have cleared the ship and the guests avoid congestion in the baggage claim hall. It is hassle free.

Throughout this process, the NCL team, local authorities and on‑site partners will be there to guide you every step of the way.
